OnlyFans vs Fansly: the two platforms compared, tier by tier

How OnlyFans and Fansly compare on features, discovery, earnings, payouts and support, and how to choose or run both at once.

Straight advice

OnlyFans has the bigger name and audience. Fansly is known for giving creators more ways to structure subscriptions. Many creators and agencies use both. Here is how they compare, and how to decide.

Features

Both platforms cover the basics: photo and video posts, direct messages, subscriptions, tips and paid messages.

The difference most creators mention is subscription structure. Fansly lets you offer several subscription tiers on one profile, each with its own price and content. OnlyFans centres on a single subscription price per profile, with options such as promotions and multi-month bundles.

Tiers are useful if your audience splits clearly into casual fans and fans who want more. If it does not, a single price is simpler to run.

Discovery

Neither platform should be treated as your main source of new fans. OnlyFans relies mostly on traffic from outside the platform, from social media, collaborations and links. Fansly has more in-platform browsing, though creators report that discovery there takes work too. Plan your promotion on the assumption that you bring the audience.

Earnings and fees

On both platforms, creators earn from subscriptions, tips and paid messages, and the platform keeps a share of earnings. Fee percentages and terms can change, so check each platform's current terms before you plan your pricing.

In practice, the fee difference between the two is usually smaller than the difference in how many fans you can reach on each. Choose on audience and fit first.

Payouts and support

Payout timing, minimum withdrawal amounts and available payout methods differ between the platforms and by country. Look them up on each platform's official help pages, and plan your cash flow around the slower one if you run both.

For support, both have help centres. Ask creators in communities how each platform has handled their questions recently; experiences change over time.

How to choose

If you... Lean towards
Want the most widely recognised platform for your link in bio OnlyFans
Have a clear split between casual and premium fans Fansly, for tiers
Are just starting and want to keep things simple One platform first, then add the second
Already earn steadily and have a content backlog Both

Whatever you pick, read both platforms' Terms of Service and content policies. They differ, and you are responsible for following the rules on each.

Running both at once

Many creators run both. A few tips to keep it manageable:

  • Give each page a role. For example, OnlyFans for the core subscription and Fansly for a tiered offer, rather than identical pages.
  • Use the same content calendar. Plan once, then adapt what goes where.
  • Keep your voice consistent so fans recognise you on either platform.
  • Track separately. Compare earnings per hour on each platform every month.
  • Tell fans clearly what each page offers, so nobody feels they have to pay twice for the same thing.

Inflowwww manages OnlyFans accounts, and a team answers them from Messages Pro. A Fansly client lives in the repo; the Docker image does not ship it yet. Until it does, run the Fansly inbox from Fansly itself.

FAQ

Can I use OnlyFans and Fansly at the same time? Yes, as long as you follow each platform's rules. Many creators cross-promote between them.

Which has lower fees? Check each platform's current terms. The percentages are close enough that audience matters more.

Which is better for beginners? Start on one platform, learn what your fans want, then add the second once you have a routine.

Using it on a live OnlyFans account may violate OnlyFans' Terms of Service; the risk sits with the creator's account. Read the disclaimer first.
