How traffic works on mym: one tracked link per source, and nothing for us to count
How outside traffic and mym's discovery feed each other, how to track each source, and the weekly numbers that show what to scale.

Parody
A parody of “How traffic works on mym, and how agencies scale it” (infloww.com, published Sep 1, 2026; their page stamped Oct 10, 2026). The advice is meant; the jokes are about software, and they stay out of the steps. Inflowwww is not affiliated with Infloww.
How does traffic work on mym? Two engines run together. Outside traffic brings the first fans; their engagement tells the platform's discovery feeds that a creator is worth showing; discovery then brings fans you did not acquire yourself. The agency's job is to start the first engine, measure both, and scale whatever converts. Inflowwww has no mym support, so this is advice only.
How the two engines connect
Platforms with internal discovery work a lot like short-video social apps: public posts that get engagement are shown to more people. On mym, that means feeds such as For You and Discover.
What that implies for an agency:
- No posts, no reach. Keep public posts going every day so discovery has something to show.
- No outside traffic, slow start. A brand-new creator has no engagement signal yet. Your traffic provides it.
- Discovery is a bonus you measure, not a plan you rely on. Track subscribers that did not arrive through your links. That is the platform's contribution.
Some platforms also offer promotional placements for creators who already bring traffic. Ask the platform's agency team what exists, what qualifies, and how results are reported.
Four traffic sources, in order of effort
- The creator's existing audience. Link-in-bio pages already get qualified visitors. Add the mym link with a clear label. If a payment method matters to the audience, name it in the label.
- Multiple social accounts. Post the same short clips across several accounts, each with its own tracked link. Keep the accounts that convert and stop the rest. Follow each social platform's rules on account creation and automation; losing an account to a policy breach costs more than any test gains.
- Paid ads. Only where the ad platform allows it, and only after free sources work. Optimize on subscriptions, not clicks, and target the regions and languages your profile serves.
- Partners. Cross-promotion with other creators, each with its own link so you can tell partners apart.
Make every test readable
A traffic test is only useful if you can tell sources apart. Three rules:
- One tracked link per source. Per bio, per account, per campaign, per partner.
- Every link lands on the creator profile, never a homepage. A fan who has to search often doesn't.
- Language matches the profile. Sending one language's traffic to a profile in another language is the most common way a test fails.
The weekly numbers
| Number | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Click-to-subscription rate per link | Whether the traffic is qualified, or the profile is the problem |
| Revenue per source | Which sources bring buyers, not just visitors |
| Fan lifetime value per source | Which sources are worth scaling past the first month |
| Cost per subscriber (paid only) | Whether paid can stand on its own |
| Subscribers not from your links | Roughly what the platform's discovery adds |
If posting and chat are strong but subscriber growth is flat, the problem is upstream: traffic.
From first sale to steady revenue
- Stage 1: prove outside traffic. Get first sales and find two sources that convert.
- Stage 2: add platform reach. With proven demand, ask about promotion options and track their lift separately.
- Stage 3: lean on organic reach. As engagement rises, discovery does more, and paid spend can come down.
- Stage 4: run both engines. Outside traffic, discovery and any placements together, with tracked links showing which part pays.
The pitch. mym traffic is counted on mym; for your OnlyFans pages, Tracking links show which channel sent which fan, minus the invoice. Deploy it yourself.
