OnlyFans release forms: what you need before a collab
What OnlyFans release forms are, when you need one, how collaborators get verified, and how to plan a collab with consent first.

Straight advice
Written in reply to “Everything you need to know about OnlyFans release forms” (infloww.com, published Jul 22, 2024; their page stamped Oct 10, 2026). The advice here is sincere; any joke is in the closing box. Inflowwww is not affiliated with Infloww.
Short answer: anyone other than you who appears in your OnlyFans content must be verified with OnlyFans before you publish that content, either as a verified creator you tag or through a release form. Plan it before the shoot, not after.
This is not legal advice; OnlyFans' own release form pages and terms are the source of truth.
What a release form is
A release form is the written record that a person who appears in your content is an adult, is who they say they are, and agreed to appear and to have the content published on your page. OnlyFans checks it against the person's ID.
It protects everyone:
- Your collaborator, whose likeness is only used with their documented agreement.
- You, because you can show consent if a question ever comes up.
- The platform, which has to confirm that everyone featured is 18 or older.
When you need one
- Solo content: no release form. Your own verification at signup covers you.
- Your collaborator is a verified OnlyFans creator: OnlyFans lets you tag them in the post, which links the content to their verified account. Follow the tagging prompts when you upload.
- Your collaborator is not a verified creator, or you are not tagging them: they need to complete OnlyFans' release process before the content goes live.
If content featuring someone unverified is uploaded, OnlyFans gives a limited window to fix it and removes the content if it is not resolved. Read the current rules in your creator settings; don't rely on old blog posts for timings, including this one.
How to get the form and submit it
The exact labels change, but the flow in a creator account looks like this:
- In your creator account, open the Release forms section from the menu.
- If your collaborator has or can create an OnlyFans account, use the invite option. They get a link and verify their own identity directly with OnlyFans. This is the cleanest route because their ID never passes through you.
- If you use the downloadable form instead, send it to your collaborator, have them fill it in completely and sign it, and submit it with the required ID documents through the same section.
- Wait for OnlyFans to confirm before you publish. Verification takes days, not minutes.
The form asks for things like legal name, date of birth, ID details and the page where the content will appear. Accuracy matters: a mismatch with the ID is the most common reason for delays.
Plan the collab so consent is never an afterthought
A simple pre-shoot checklist:
- Agree in writing what will be shot, where it will be posted, how it will be priced, and how revenue is split. A message thread both of you confirm is better than nothing.
- Start verification a week or more before the shoot. If the collaborator is new to OnlyFans, start earlier.
- Agree on removal. Decide now what happens if either of you wants content taken down later.
- Store documents securely. If you hold any copies of IDs or signed forms, keep them encrypted and access-limited, for as long as the law where you produce requires and no longer.
- Never pressure anyone. Consent can be withdrawn. A collab that only works if someone is pushed into it is not a collab.
Finding collaborators
Good collaborators usually come from relationships: creators you already talk to, peers in your niche, creator communities on X and Reddit, and people you meet through repost groups. Start with a smaller shared promotion (a shout-out swap) before a joint shoot, so you both know the other is reliable.
Keep a simple shared sheet of collab partners, agreed terms and each person's verification status.
The pitch. Release forms go through OnlyFans' own process and no CRM replaces it; Inflowwww is a free, self-hosted one for fan notes and chats. Deploy it yourself.
