Straight advice

Each platform's content policy decides how you can promote there. At the time of writing, X and Reddit allow adult promotion within their rules, while Instagram and TikTok do not, so they suit safe-for-work content that builds a following. Policies change, so read each one's current rules before you post.
Start with OnlyFans' own tools
Before you look elsewhere, use what the platform gives you.
- Your profile link is the destination for everything else in this post.
- Tracking links let you create a separate link per campaign or platform, so you can see which one brings subscribers.
- Free trial links give new fans a limited free period on a paid page, which suits a one-off promotion.
- Shout-outs and collaborations with other creators introduce you to their subscribers, within the platform's rules for featuring other people.
Create one tracking link per platform before you start. Without them, you are guessing which promotion works.
X (Twitter)
X allows adult content when it is marked as sensitive and kept out of places like profile and header images, according to its media policy at the time of writing.
- Mark your account or posts as sensitive in the settings.
- Post consistently: teasers, previews, text posts with personality.
- Reply to and repost creators in your niche; engagement brings discovery.
- Put your link in your bio and in a pinned post.
Reddit is organised into communities, and each subreddit sets its own rules on top of Reddit's site-wide policy.
- Read every subreddit's rules before posting. Many require verification with a sign showing your username, limit how often you can post or ban direct links.
- Post in communities that match your niche, and mark adult posts as NSFW.
- Do not post the same thing everywhere at once. Communities notice, and moderators remove repetitive posts.
- Build some account history by taking part normally; many communities require it.
Instagram and TikTok
Both prohibit adult content and restrict links to adult sites. They are still useful for building an audience around who you are.
- Post safe-for-work content: lifestyle, fitness, fashion, behind-the-scenes, humour, a hobby you are good at.
- Follow each platform's community guidelines and its rules on links in bios.
- Use the audience you build there to grow your following on platforms where you can link directly.
Link-in-bio pages
A link-in-bio page collects all your links in one place. Choose a service whose terms explicitly allow links to adult platforms, and check whether the social networks you use allow linking to it. Read both sets of terms before you rely on one.
Adult-friendly platforms and how to measure
Some social sites and forums are built for adult creators and allow explicit promotion. They tend to have smaller audiences than the mainstream networks, but the visitors are often closer to subscribing. Read each one's rules and verification requirements before you join.
Whichever platforms you use:
- Give each one its own tracking link.
- Once a month, compare subscribers and revenue per link.
- Drop the platform that costs the most time for the fewest subscribers, and double down on the best one.
The pitch. OnlyFans' own tracking links tell you which platform sent each fan, and Inflowwww's Tracking links screen keeps them in a database you own. Deploy it yourself.
