How to start an OnlyFans with zero followers, using software that also starts at zero

Starting OnlyFans with no audience is normal, just slower. A 90-day plan: niche, persona, a converting profile, steady promotion where it is allowed.

Parody

A parody of “How to start an OnlyFans with ZERO followers” (infloww.com, published Jul 24, 2024; their page stamped Oct 10, 2026). The advice is meant; the jokes are about software, and they stay out of the steps. Inflowwww is not affiliated with Infloww.

Short answer: yes, you can start with no following, and many creators do. What replaces an existing audience is a clear niche, a recognisable persona, and promotion you do consistently on platforms that allow it. Expect your first subscribers to come from your own outreach, not from OnlyFans search. Expect it to take months, not days.

Week 0: research before you post

Spend a few evenings learning how other creators started.

  • Read creator-advice communities on Reddit (search "OnlyFans advice") for honest first-month stories.
  • Watch creators who teach on YouTube. Pick two or three whose approach you like.
  • Read OnlyFans' own creator help pages and terms, so you know the rules on verification, content and collaborations.
  • Read the rules of every platform you plan to promote on. Instagram and TikTok forbid adult content; X and Reddit allow it under their own rules.

Write down three things you learned and one thing you will avoid.

Define your niche and persona

Niche. The narrower, the easier to find. Start from what you genuinely enjoy and what makes you different: an aesthetic, a hobby, a style, a type of interaction. "Fitness and cosplay" is easier to promote than "a bit of everything".

Persona. The version of you that fans meet. It should be true to you and easy to sustain. Decide on tone (playful, calm, witty), what you share and what stays private, and how you talk in messages.

Boundaries. Decide now what you will and will not create, and write it down. It is easier to hold a line you set calmly in advance.

Brand basics. One name across every platform, a consistent look (colours, lighting, photo style), and a short bio you can reuse.

Build a profile that converts

Your first visitors are precious. Don't waste them on an empty page.

  • Post 10 to 20 pieces of content before you promote, so new subscribers have something to enjoy on day one.
  • Write a bio that says what you post and how often.
  • Set a launch price you are comfortable with, and consider a free trial link for your first wave of followers.
  • Prepare a welcome message for new subscribers.

Promote every day, on the right platforms

With no audience, promotion is the job. Pick two platforms to start, not five.

  • X: adult content allowed with sensitive-media labelling, direct links allowed. Post daily, reply to creators in your niche, and join creator repost communities.
  • Reddit: niche subreddits that allow creator promotion. Verify where required, build karma by commenting, post previews within each community's rules.
  • Instagram or TikTok: safe-for-work only, for personality and reach. Never link or reference adult content there.

Set a daily routine you can keep: for example, 45 minutes split into posting, replying and engaging with others. Do it six days a week.

Measure, then double down

Give each platform its own OnlyFans tracking link so you know where your first subscribers came from. If you run Inflowwww, that is Tracking links (/growth/tracking-links), and free trial links live in Free trial links (/growth/free-trial-links).

A realistic 90-day plan:

  • Days 1-30: profile ready, two platforms, daily routine. Goal: learn what people respond to.
  • Days 31-60: drop what isn't working, do more of what is, start shout-out swaps with creators your size.
  • Days 61-90: look at retention as well as new subscribers. Keep your regulars happy; they are your best promotion.

Look after yourself

Building from zero is slow, and slow can feel like failure when it isn't. Track progress weekly, not hourly. Keep your personal and creator accounts separate, use two-factor authentication everywhere, and talk to other creators. Nobody does this alone well.

The pitch. Your first subscribers deserve fast replies, and Messages Pro keeps that inbox on your own server. Deploy it yourself.

Deploying it yourself means installing it once on a server you rent; after that, everyone works in a browser.

After the one-time setup (docker network create n8n_default, the state files and an .env), this is the install. Docker Engine 25+ with Compose 2.20+.

docker compose up -d --build

Before chatters reach it from outside, read the security notes: today it belongs on a private network or a VPN, not on the open internet.

Using it on a live OnlyFans account may violate OnlyFans' Terms of Service; the risk sits with the creator's account. Read the disclaimer first.
