How to use Reddit to promote OnlyFans: earn karma first, post links second

Reddit rewards creators who join communities before promoting in them. Profile, subreddits, verification, karma, posting rhythm and protecting your work.

Straight advice

Written in reply to “How to use Reddit to promote OnlyFans” (infloww.com, published Jun 5, 2024; their page stamped Oct 10, 2026). The advice here is sincere; any joke is in the closing box. Inflowwww is not affiliated with Infloww.

Short answer: Reddit allows adult communities and sorts people by niche, which makes it one of the best free sources of subscribers. The price is participation. Each subreddit is run by volunteer moderators with their own rules, and accounts that only drop links get removed fast. Show up as a member first.

How Reddit works, for creators

  • Subreddits are communities around one topic, each with its own rules in the sidebar or "About" tab.
  • Votes decide visibility. Upvoted posts rise in the subreddit and sometimes beyond it.
  • Karma is the running total of votes on your posts and comments. Many subreddits require a minimum karma or account age before you can post.
  • Moderators enforce the rules, and they are volunteers who care about their community.
  • Reddit's own rules apply everywhere: adult content must be marked NSFW and posted only in communities that allow it, and spam and vote manipulation are not allowed. Read Reddit's content policy and its guidance on self-promotion once.

Set up a profile that converts

  1. Username: the same name you use on OnlyFans and X, so people recognise you.
  2. Avatar and banner: clear and on-brand, within Reddit's rules.
  3. Bio: two lines on who you are and what you post, plus your link if your profile settings allow it.
  4. Profile posts: keep a few of your best posts on your own profile. Curious people click your name before they click your link.
  5. Profile NSFW setting: if your profile has adult content, mark it as NSFW in settings.

Find your subreddits

Spend an hour on research before you post anything.

  • Search Reddit for your niche: your aesthetic, hobby, style or genre. Note the subscriber count and how recent the top posts are.
  • Read the rules of each one and write them down: whether promotion is allowed, whether links are allowed, title formats, posting limits, verification.
  • Build a shortlist of 10 to 20 active communities that fit you, plus a few general creator-support communities for advice.
  • Sort the list by rule type: "links allowed", "no links, profile only", "verification required". This becomes your posting map.

Get verified and build karma

Verification. Many adult subreddits ask creators to verify with the moderators, usually with a photo holding a handwritten sign with your username and the subreddit name. Each subreddit explains its own process; follow it exactly. Verification protects you too: it makes impersonation harder.

Karma. Earn it the honest way:

  • Comment thoughtfully in subreddits about your real interests, not just adult ones. Keep it to interests that do not identify you: no local, city, school or workplace subreddits from your creator account.
  • Answer questions in creator-advice communities where you have experience.
  • Post things people enjoy: a good photo, a useful tip, a funny observation.

Never buy karma, ask for upvotes, or upvote yourself from other accounts. Reddit treats that as manipulation and it can cost you the account.

Post with a rhythm and a purpose

  • Tease, don't give away. Share previews and crops that show your style, and let OnlyFans hold the full content.
  • Match each post to each community. A post made for the subreddit does much better than the same image pasted into twenty places.
  • Pick a sustainable pace. One or two posts a day across your shortlist is plenty for most creators. Respect each subreddit's own posting limit.
  • Write good titles. Follow the subreddit's format, be specific, and keep them friendly.
  • Reply to comments for the first hour. It keeps the post alive.
  • Track it. Create a Reddit-only tracking link in your OnlyFans settings and put it in your profile, so you can see subscribers from Reddit, not just upvotes. If you run Inflowwww, the same links are in Tracking links (/growth/tracking-links).

Protect your work

  • Watermark previews with your creator name, placed so it can't be cropped out easily.
  • Post lower-resolution previews, not full-quality files.
  • Report reposts to the subreddit's moderators, and use Reddit's copyright reporting for stolen content. OnlyFans also has a process for reporting leaked content; check its help pages.
  • Keep your originals backed up off-platform.

Finally, find your people. Creator-support communities on Reddit are where you learn what works, find collaborators, and get support from people who understand the job. Give back there too.

The pitch. Reddit rewards patience, and Inflowwww's Tracking links show which posts paid it back. Deploy it yourself.
