Parody
A parody of “Exclusivity sells: Creating a VIP experience for your subscribers” (infloww.com, published Aug 1, 2024; their page stamped Oct 10, 2026). The advice is meant; the jokes are about software, and they stay out of the steps. Inflowwww is not affiliated with Infloww.
Exclusivity changes what a subscription buys. When fans feel they get something others do not, they renew, tip and reply more. Here is how to build that feeling honestly, with offers you can actually deliver.
Limited-time and limited-quantity offers
Limited time. A bundle or discount that ends on a stated date. Rules:
- Say the end date in the first line of the message.
- Make it real. If the offer comes back next week, fans learn to wait.
- Use it two or three times a month at most.
Limited quantity. "Ten signed polaroids from this shoot" or "five custom voice notes this week". Scarcity works when the number is small and true. Track who bought so you can say "sold out" with confidence and thank the buyers by name.
Early access and behind the scenes
Early access. Send a new set to your top fans 24-48 hours before it goes to everyone. It costs nothing extra to produce and it is a clear perk.
Behind the scenes. Setup photos, outfit choices, planning notes, bloopers. Keep the raw, personal material for subscribers and use only the polished promo on public socials.
Tiered access
Not every fan wants the same thing. A simple three-tier structure:
| Tier | Who | What they get |
|---|---|---|
| Everyone | All subscribers | Regular feed, polls |
| Regulars | Renewed 3+ months, or a set spend | Early access, occasional free PPV |
| VIP | Your top spenders | Personal voice notes, first pick on customs |
You do not need separate accounts. You need lists. If you run Inflowwww, Smart lists (/growth/smart-lists) segment fans, Smart Messages (/growth/smart-messages) send to a list, and the fan panel in Messages Pro shows lifetime spend, notes and tags per fan.
Our own pricing has one tier, which makes this table easier for us to fill in.
Unique content and emphasised value
Unique content is something only this page has: a recurring series, a running joke with your regulars, a format you invented. Name it, schedule it and protect it. Do not post it to public socials.
Emphasise value. Fans do not see your effort unless you tell them.
- "This set took a full day to shoot in three locations."
- "Eight minutes, not on my feed, only for this list."
- Count what is included, every time.
Subscriber recognition
Recognition is the cheapest VIP perk and often the most valued.
- Anniversaries. Thank fans on their 3-, 6- and 12-month renewal.
- Shout-outs. A monthly thank-you to your top supporters, by first name or nickname, with their permission.
- Remembering. Mention what they told you last time: the trip, the dog, the exam.
The last one is the hardest at scale, especially when several chatters share an inbox. Write it down in the fan's notes the moment you learn it.
A weekly VIP plan
- Monday: early access drop to the VIP list.
- Wednesday: behind-the-scenes post for all subscribers.
- Friday: limited offer to regulars, with an end date.
- Sunday: two or three personal thank-yous.
Review the lists monthly. Move fans up when they qualify, and never move anyone down in a way they can see.
The pitch. Early-access and VIP lists are Smart lists and Smart Messages jobs in Inflowwww, open source and free for every creator you add. Deploy it yourself.
