Parody
A parody of “How to set up Discord to build your OnlyFans community” (infloww.com, published Jun 5, 2024; their page stamped Oct 10, 2026). The advice is meant; the jokes are about software, and they stay out of the steps. Inflowwww is not affiliated with Infloww.
Short answer: a Discord server gives your fans a place to talk to you and to each other, which a subscription feed can't. Set it up with clear channels, roles that match your fan tiers, age-restricted settings where needed, and moderation from day one. Then launch it to your most engaged fans first.
Why a server is worth it
- Community: fans talk to each other, not just to you. That is what makes people stay.
- Real-time contact: text, voice and video channels for chats, Q&As and events.
- Feedback: you see what fans want next in their own words.
- A VIP space: private channels for your top subscribers make them feel recognised.
It is also work. A server needs regular attention and moderation. If you can't give it a few minutes a day, start smaller (one announcements channel and one chat) rather than letting a big server go quiet.
Know Discord's rules first
Read Discord's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service before you build. In short, for creators:
- Users must meet Discord's minimum age, and adult content is only allowed in channels or servers marked age-restricted, which only adults can access.
- Adult content is not allowed in server icons, banners, invite splashes or other places visible before someone enters an age-restricted space.
- Discord prohibits certain content categories entirely regardless of settings. Read the list.
Keep the whole server safe-for-work and free to join. Paid and explicit content stays on OnlyFans, and so does every payment: never sell access to the server or deliver paid content in it.
Build the structure
- Create the server from the plus button in Discord. Name it after your creator name and upload a safe-for-work icon and banner.
- Turn on Community features in server settings. This enables rules screening, a welcome screen and announcement channels.
- Create categories and channels:
- Start here: rules, welcome, announcements (read-only).
- Community: general chat, introductions, off-topic, content suggestions.
- Events: a voice channel and a stage or event channel for Q&As.
- Subscribers: private, role-locked channels for verified subscribers and VIPs, for chat and announcements only. The content itself stays on OnlyFans.
- Write short rules: respect, no sharing or reposting of paid content, no harassment, no personal information, no DMing the creator unless invited, how to report problems.
Set up roles and permissions
Roles decide who sees what. A simple set:
- Member: everyone after accepting the rules.
- Subscriber: confirmed OnlyFans subscribers. Decide how you confirm (for example, a code you send through OnlyFans messages that a moderator checks).
- VIP: long-term or top supporters.
- Moderator: trusted people who can remove messages, time out and ban.
- You: the owner, with two-factor authentication turned on.
Check each private channel's permissions by viewing the server as each role. It is the easiest way to catch a leak.
Add moderation and helpful bots
- Turn on AutoMod for spam, mention spam and a list of blocked words.
- Set a verification level so brand-new accounts must wait or verify before chatting.
- Use a well-known moderation bot for logs and warnings, and a role bot for reaction or button roles. Give bots only the permissions they need.
- Recruit at least one human moderator before you have more than a few dozen members.
Launch and keep it alive
- Invite your most engaged fans first, with a personal message. They set the tone.
- Post a welcome message and a first event date.
- Run one regular event a week: a voice Q&A, a poll on next week's content, a behind-the-scenes post.
- Post in announcements whenever you release something on OnlyFans.
- Check once a month when people are active, using Server Insights if your server has access to it, or simply by watching which events fill up.
If you run Inflowwww, you can save your Discord invite message as a reusable script in Scripts (/growth/scripts), so every chatter sends the same well-worded invite through Messages Pro.
The pitch. A Discord server needs moderators, not a CRM. Inflowwww's Scripts screen keeps the invite word-perfect for whoever sends it, at $0 per member. Deploy it yourself.
